Sodium Sulphide is usually the mixture of various crystal water. The specific gravity is 1.86, Melting point is 50°C. It is corrosive, poisonous, and easy to be oxidized and deliquesced in the air and easy to dissolve in water. It’s water solution appears strong alkalescence. It will transgress hydrogen when join with acid.

Applications:
Sodium Sulphide is mainly applied to the industries of dyeing, printing and dyeing, leather-making, paper-making, metallurgy and pharmacy. Besides, it is applied to the manufacture of sodium, sodium polysulfide and sodium hydride.
